LOG CABIN HERITAGE FOUNDATION

The Log Cabin Heritage Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support to the Log Cabin Village in areas that exceed the staffing and budgetary limits of the City of Fort Worth Parks and Community Services Department. By soliciting grants and donations from private sources and individuals, we are able to provide funding for staff professional development, dollars for matching grants, and resources for artifact restoration.

Board Responsibilities

Heritage Foundation Event

Members of the Log Cabin Heritage Foundation Board of Directors must attend regular meetings, become members of the Friends of the Village, be a supporter of the Log Cabin Village and its endeavors, and commit to achieving the goals of the Foundation.

The Foundation meets quarterly to discuss current and future projects. If you are interested in serving on the Log Cabin Heritage Foundation Board of Directors, please contact the Log Cabin Village Director at 817-392-6768.

Future Plans

The Log Cabin Heritage Foundation is in the early planning stages to develop, design and ultimately build an education building for the Log Cabin Village. The construction of this building, with its climate controlled artifact storage, is the last step needed to acquire the much desired status of formal American Association of Museums Accreditation.
