Pioneer Times Innovation Awards
The Log Cabin Heritage Foundation, a support group for Log Cabin Village, is proud to offer the Pioneer Times Innovation Awards, an annual contest for 4th graders replacing the Pioneer Times Journalist Search essay contest. Each 4th grade class who tours the Village each calendar year is eligible to enter. The entries need to be turned in by January 15th each year in order to be judged. Two student entries from each class will be chosen to receive first place and first runner up prizes ($100 and $50 U.S. Savings Bonds, respectively). All entries are eligible to be published in the Log Cabin Village Pioneer Times newsletter. A ceremony will be held each spring to present the winning entries from the previous year with their bonds. From all of these entries, a Grand Prize winner will be chosen to receive a $1000.00 savings bond!
