Frontier 101 is a great program for all ages. Participants virtually travel from cabin to cabin for live, interactive conversations with our historical interpreters dressed in period attire. The interpreters discuss 19th century Texas frontier history, demonstrate various crafts from the time period, and engage participants in discussions about the past. Demonstrations vary but may include weaving, candle-dipping, blacksmithing, and milling. We also offer this program as a pre-recorded option. You can see a preview of the pre-recorded program below.
