About the Event
Join us for a free virtual lecture by nationally recognized historian and educator Kevin Levin on Monday, October 19, at 7pm. The evening’s talk will center on the intersection of history and memory, using the American Civil War, its subsequent mythology, and lasting impacts as primary examples.
Levin has published extensively in the field of Civil War history and made guest appearances on C-SPAN and BackStory with the American History Guys. He works with teachers and students across the country to better understand historical memory through programs with the National Park Service and the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College.
